A Clean Cemetery Becomes a Site of Prayer and Fond Memories: Bejai Ward Volunteers to Clean Cemetery

The Ward Members of Most Holy Redeemer Church Derebail have been rendering their service to the Parish in various capacities. Having dwelt on the suggestion made by the Parish Priest Rev.Fr.Joseph Martis, during his meeting with the Ward leaders, various wards volunteered to clear the cemetery by clearing the weeds and grass. Fr.Joseph in his interaction with the ward leaders highlighted the importance of a clean cemetery. He suggested that wards could take turns and clean up the cemetery atleast once a year.

The members of Bejai ward too joined in the cleanliness drive on 13 August, 2023 and cleared the extreme end of the cemetery. About 19 members worked to clear the grass and weeds from 4 to 4.45PM.

At the end of the cleaning session, the parish priest thanked all the ward members and prayed over them God's choicest blessings
