Young Catholic Students [YCS] Inaugural Back

When the youth is brought together in the name of Christ, it is a sign that the Church will always hold a pivotal place in the lives of the generations to come. The formal inauguration of the Young Catholic Students (YCS) of Most Holy Redeemer Church was held on the 19th of July, 2015 during the 9.15 AM mass.  The YCS is a student movement where students come together in small groups of 8-10 to share their interests, problems, experiences, anxieties etc and find a solution of their own through the YCS methodology of See, Judge and Act i.e. Awareness, Reflection Action and Evaluation.

All the members of the YCS entered the church in procession. It was a proud moment for all the elders of the church to watch the youth come forward and take this initiative. The newly elected post holders of YCS administered their Oath on this very day. Fr.Anil. Lobo, the Assistant Parish Priest administered their oath. The Post Holders are- Deon Fleming Dsouza (President), Preethi Pais (Secretary), Manish Pinto (Treasurer) and Megal Dcunha   (Public Relations).

Under the guidance of their animators Mr Michael D’silva and Mrs Loretta, the youth led the entire liturgy.
