Remembering 26/11: Choir Team pays tribute to Martyrs

The  Choir Team of Most Holy Redeemer Church participated in the programme in memory of the martyred souls of the soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the sake of our nation and its people. The programme  organised on the 26th of November at Yuddha Smaraka, Kadri specially commemorated the sacrifice of the soldiers during the Mumbai Terror Attacks that occurred on the 26th of November, 2008.

Most Holy Redeemer Church was able to extend its participation in this noble ceremony through the representation and singing of the parish choir. The team trained by Mr Anil Patrao sang a few patriotic songs and hymns throughout the memorable event. A few parents of martyred soldiers were also present for the ceremony.  As a symbolic gesture, the martyred souls were honoured with wreaths on the epic stone.

The programme was wound up with the singing of the National Song and the National Anthem.
