Last July when the house collapsed due to heavy rain, the ward people along wih the other people of good will immediately rushed to the place. After assessing the damaged, a decision was taken to reconstruct the house than carrying out the repairs, under the guidance of the parish priest. Initially the Derebail parish Sports club took the lead in the construction. Later Mr. Claud Pais and Mr. Joel Correa with the help of donors took great pains to complete the house. We thank all donors who have contributed through cash or kind and various persons who have given free service. While an amount of Rs.3,60,000/- is spent for the construction a deficit of Rs. 1,00,000/- needs to be made good. Therefore an appeal is made to the people of good will to contribute their mite and share the burden.
