Youth CLC Organises Summer Camp 2022

Christian Life Community (CLC)-  Youth Unit organised a 2 day  Summer Camp 'Eroi Miracolosi' on the 6th and 7th May, 2022 for children from Grade 4 to Grade 10 in the Parish Meeting Hall.

The programme was formally inaugurated by the Parish Priest Fr. Austin Peres, along with Socius Priest Fr. Gerald Pinto, Mrs. Sheela D'souza, Mr. Gaulbert Pais, Vice President and Secretary of PPC respectively and Mr. Gerald Concessao Animator of Youth CLC. Fr. Austin led the prayer and declared the Summer Camp open.

The participants were divided into five groups. The children had the opportunity of listening to Spiritual and Resourceful talks led by Fr.Gratian Alvares & Fr.Anil Lobo on respective days. In order to encourage interaction  a few activities like the icebreaker, team, group building activities and Quiz were conducted. A total of  64 attendees joined the camp.

The camp received alot of positive feedback from the attendees who were given opportunity to share the experience of the camp. Breakfast,  lunch and snacks were served on both the days of the camp. 

Rev.Fr. Austin along with Fr. Gerald, Mr. Gaulbert,  Mr.Ullas D'costa Animator, Mr. Edward Coelho Co-ordinator of Catechists graced the Closing Ceremony of the Camp . At the end of the closing ceremony prize distribution was held. This  marked the end of a fruitful summer camp . The co- ordinators of the camp were Ms. Preethi Pais and Ms. Glain Figreda who ensured smooth flow of activities. 

It was well evident that the Youth CLC members did a good job in bringing together the children of the parish and keeping them engaged in creative activities. The guidance and support of the Senior CLC members towards the Youth CLC was seen in the level of perfection that was achieved in the execution of this camp.
