Kottara Ward: SCC Meeting , March 2022

The SCC meeting of Kottara Ward was held on 20th March at the residence of Mr.Ivan and Mrs. Jascintha. The meeting began at 5.30 p.m. Mrs. Jascintha Misquith welcomed the guests.

The Word of God was read from the Gospel of Luke 4: 1-13. The message chosen was , "Let us live in the inspiration of the Holy Spirit."

The ward members decided to take up the service activity of collecting the garbage at the ward's roads. 

The meeting for the next month was scheduled for the 24th of April at the residence of Mr. Vincent Castelino.

The Way of the Cross was then carried out by the youth and the children of the ward. This was followed by a fellowship meal prepared and savoured by the ward members themselves. The ward members whose birthday is in the month of March were greeted with a birthday song. A special prayer was also recited for them by Mr.Gerald Castelino. 

Mrs.Celine Pinto was the MC for the meeting. Mr. Gerald Castelino animated the meeting. The Gurkar, Mr.Mike Dsilva thanked all the ward members for their presence, support and whole-hearter cooperation.

A total of 55 members from 24 families were present for the meeting
