International Women's Day Celebration in Konchady Ward II

The Women's Day celebration in Konchady ward II was held on 8th March 2026 at the residence of Mrs Thekla Cornelio during the SCC meeting.

The programme started at 4.30 PM with the Way of the Cross. The women's role in family, church and in the society was appreciated through a poem written by one of the ward members Mr Joseph Cornelio. The senior most woman in the ward Mrs Thekla Cornelio was honoured and the women present were wished with roses. 

Housie-housie game was conducted by the Gurkarn of the ward Mrs Meena Lobo and the prizes were distributed to the winners. The meeting concluded with gratitude towards Mrs Thekla Cornelio for hosting the programme at her residence.
