Christmas Joy and Togetherness at Konchady Ward

The Konchady Ward members came together at the residence of Mr. Victor and Mrs. Jessy Pinto on 15th December ,2024 at 6:30 PM for the ward meeting followed by a joyous Christmas gathering.

Mrs. Jessy Pinto warmly welcomed the gathering, setting the tone for an evening filled with camaraderie and cheer. The celebration was graced by the presence of Fr. Kevin Dsouza, Assistant Parish Priest of Derebail, who joined in spreading the festive spirit.

The air was filled with the melodious sounds of Christmas carols sung by the ward members, adding a magical charm to the event. The arrival of Santa Claus was the highlight of the evening, bringing smiles and laughter to both children and elders as they delighted in the joyous moments.

The ward members also celebrated a significant milestone, the 60th birthday of Mr. Dennis Dsouza, with heartfelt wishes and prayers.

Adding an extra layer of excitement, a lively Housie House game was organized, engaging everyone in friendly competition. Fr. Kevin Dsouza  handed over the prizes to the winners, making the evening even more memorable.

As the gathering drew to a close, Mrs. Sheela Dsouza, the Ward Gurkar, expressed gratitude to everyone for their active participation and support through vote of thanks.

The program concluded with a delightful Christmas dinner, where the spirit of sharing and togetherness was celebrated. The Konchady Ward meeting and Christmas gathering truly embodied the essence of the season, fostering love, joy, and unity among all present.
