Celebration of Nativity at Konchady 1 Ward

After having celebrated Nativity with their respective families on the 8th of September, the ward members of Konchady 1 Ward came together on 10 September, 2023 to celebrate  the feast. The ward members gathered at the residence of Ms.Zita Sequeira at 5 P.M for the meeting and celebration. Ms.Zita, as the host welcomed the gathering to the ward meeting. 

After the ward meeting, the ward members honoured infant Mary's statue with flowers. Later the blessed corn was added to the payasam that was prepared by Mrs.Felcy Fernandes. The payasam was then distributed to and relished by the ward members.

The ward leader, Mrs.Benedicta D'cunha addressed the gathering and encouraged the ward members to actively participate in the events that are hosted by the Parish. 

Ms.Zita then extended her gratitude to all those who had graced the event. The event concluded with the ward members singing a Marian hymn.

It was indeed a joyous moment where all the members united as one family in celebrating the feast

A total of 22 members were present for the gathering.
