The Youth Mega Fest x Kodials Got Talent Back

The Youth Mega Fest and Kodial's Got Talent Competition was held on May 17, 2025, at the Derebail Church Hall, organized by ICYM City Deanery in collaboration with Yuva Spandan Derebail (ICYM). The event was a vibrant celebration of youth talent and unity, bringing together dynamic performers and enthusiastic audiences.

The evening began with the lot draw for the competition at 4:45 PM, followed by the start of Kodial's Got Talent at 5:15 PM. Christon Menezes introduced the judges of the competition, Mr. Raash and Mr. Joyel Lobo. A total of 23 contestants showcased their unique talents in various creative forms, making it a tough and thrilling competition.

At 6:15 PM, the stage program commenced in the presence of several dignitaries:

The program was compered by Reachel, who guided the event smoothly. It began with a prayer song by ICYM City Deanery members, followed by a graceful welcome dance by Tianna Dsouza and Muriel Menezes, and the symbolic lamp lighting ceremony.

Christon Menezes welcomed the dignitaries with roses, while the judges, Raash and Joyel Lobo, were honored with mementos. Fr. Steevan Nelson Peris was welcomed into the parish with a shawl. Heartfelt speeches were delivered by Fr. Joseph Martis, Ms.Remona Pereira, and Mr. Winston Sequeira, who highlighted the importance of youth leadership and creativity.

The stage program concluded with the ICYM anthem, and the competition resumed with even more energy. After all the performances, Judge Joyel Lobo amazed the audience with a powerful beatboxing performance, followed by a stunning dance showcase by Team Horizon, led by Remona Pereira and Raash.

The valedictory ceremony was led by Fr. William Dsouza. The winners were awarded with trophies and cash prizes. All 23 participants received certificates of participation in recognition of their efforts and enthusiasm.

The event concluded by 8:30 PM, leaving behind a joyful atmosphere of celebration and unity. The Youth Mega Fest truly showcased the power and passion of youth, along with the strong team spirit and coordination of ICYM City Deanery and Yuva Spandan Derebail, making it a grand success.
