Carol Singing: Konchady Ward 1 Welcomes the Season of Advent

The members of Konchady ward 1 went Carol singing in the season of Advent as a preparation for Christmas. As decided and agreed by ward members,  the Carol singing programme began at the residence of Mr Sunil Patrao on 17th December 2022 at 6.15 pm with a group of 22 members.

On 18th December 2022, the carol singing continued from the residence of Alwyn Shantha Pais . On both the days three Carols were sung in each house.   The Caroling team visited about 23 houses during this time. All ward members were enthusiastic, supportive and extremely energetic with their vocals.

The members of other religious communities too enjoyed and watched Carol Singing. The Ward Members wished them in advance on the occasion. 
Santa gave sweets to all the people he met, including people from other religious beliefs.
It was indeed a joyous feeling for the ward members to share their happiness not just among the Derebail parishioners but also among people from other religious communities. The Carol Singing indeed promoted the theme of harmony and joy.
