Launch of Our Parish Website Back

The much awaited, new look, redesigned website of Derebail Church was launched on Sunday, 30th March, 2014 during the 7 AM Mass by Rev Fr Peter D'Souza, Parish priest along with Fr Edwin Monis, Assistant Parish Priest and Fr. Bonaventure Rodrigues.

After a long wait, this website was made a reality thanks to the efforts of Fr Edwin Monis and his group of techies, all from Derebail. Explaining about the website Fr. Edwin informed that the website opened into the Home page which displayed the latest 5 events and the upcoming events in the banner.  The second tab on the menu bar opens up to events in the parish, the third shows Upcoming events, followed by the parish bulletin `Derebailchem Phul' in Konkani, organizations of the Parish, Wards and the last tab is `Contact Us'.

The redesigned website was made possible due to the relentless perseverance of Fr Edwin Monis. Under his determined leadership, the entire website was conceived, designed and constructed by Mr. Neil Patrao of Kavoor ward, ably supported by Mr. Kelvin Castelino of Kottara ward, both, techies working for global software companies. The entire content was prepared under the able leadership of Mr. Michael D'Silva and his spouse Ms. Dinha D'Silva of Kottara ward. The team included Mr. Kevin Suares of Land Links Upper and Mr. Prajwal Sequeira of Parapade Lower with inputs from Mr. Victor Correa and Mr. Anil Patrao. The photos were shot and shared by Mr. Simon Pereira and Mr. Preetham Almeida.

Mr. Anil Patrao, Vice President thanked all those who were responsible for the creation of the website and as a token of appreciation for their efforts; they were presented with a bouquet of flowers by our Parish Priest.
