Annual Feast of Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail - 2018

The Annual Feast of Most Holy Redeemer Church was celebrated with Grandeur and Pomp on Sunday 04th November, 2018 at 09.00 AM . The church premise looked bright and colourful and was elegantly decorated with fresh flowers. 

Prior to the solemn concelebrated Festal Mass Rev. Fr. Austin Peter Peres the Parish Priest distributed 'Candles of Honour' to the donors who had contributed towards the expenses of this celebration (Murdom). Rev. Fr. Vincent Menezes celebrated the Solemn Festal Mass. Fr. Austin Peres and Fr. Gracian Alvares were the concelebrants. Rev. Fr. Peter, Rev. Fr. Sampath, Rev. Fr. Rangvik, Rev. Fr. Vijay, Rev. Fr. Joachim, Rev. Fr. Rohith, Rev. Fr. Ivan and Rev. Fr. Denis Moras participated in this sacred event. 

In his homily Rev. Fr. Vincent spoke about 'Mary' and said Mary is the mother of Eucharist, Mary is the mother of the Church and Mary the mother of all believers. As a symbol of gratitude towards the Almighty Fruits, Vegetables, hosts and wine were offered. The Youth choir of Derebail Church added solemnity and colour to the feast mass with their melodious singing. Rev. Fr. Austin wished all the parishioners a happy feast and thanked all the associations and persons who helped in the successful conduct of the annual feast. 

To add to the celebratory note various stalls were set up by the members of Sports Club, CLC, YSD and YCS. The church premise was vibrant throughout the day with the parishioners involvement in the games  .
