YCS Inauguration - 2018 Back

YCS Inauguration was held on 22^nd July 2018 at 9.15 a.m. mass. Rev.Fr. Gratian Alvares celebrated the mass and Rev.Fr. Austin Peres inaugurated the YCS for the academic year by symbolically attaching the YCS logo onto a board with the words – ‘See, Judge  & Act on it.

Later a formal function was organized for the youth and their parents. On the dais were Fr Austin Peres – Parish Priest, Fr Gratian – Residential Priest, Mr. Lanwin Lobo – Resource Person, Mr. Prajwal Sequeira – YCS Diocesan Animator and Shawn Pinto – YCS President, Derebail Unit. The programme started with a prayer song followed by a Welcome speech by Prince Serrao – YCS Vice President. A short message was shared by both the Priest. The distinction holders were also honored. Mr. Lanwin Lobo the resource person for the day addressed the parents and the youth regarding YCS by conducting a few activities and emphasizing the role of youth as an individual.

The vote of thanks was rendered by the President – Shawn Pinto. The programme ended with the YCS anthem & YCS claps.
