YCS Derebail – Newly elected  office bearers take oath

The oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Young Catholic Students (YCS) Executive Committee for the year 2026–2027 was held on 28th June 2026 during the Holy Mass at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail. In the presence of the parish community, the newly elected office bearers solemnly took their oath of commitment, promising to serve the YCS movement with faith, dedication and responsibility.

The Parish Priest administered the oath and congratulated the newly elected team. He encouraged them to lead by example, actively participate in parish activities, and inspire fellow students through their commitment to Christ and the YCS movement.

The newly elected office bearers are:

Male Vice President : Shaman Pinto
Treasurer: Adleen Sequeira
Yuvathare Representative: Racheal D'Cunha
Cultural Secretary:Melissa Aranha
Sports Secretary:Joshua Pereira
Liturgy Secretary:Dallen Patrao
YOUCAT Representative: Hansel Castelino

Along with the Executive Committee, all the Cell Leaders and Cell Secretaries also took their oath, reaffirming their commitment to work together in building a vibrant and faith-filled YCS unit.
