GADHYANTH UDKHANA 2026

The Youth CLC of Derebail successfully organized GADHYANTH UDKHANA on 14 September 2026, bringing together youth and members of the community for a day filled with traditional spirit, teamwork, sportsmanship, and joyful fellowship.

The programme commenced at around 10:00 a.m.with the inauguration ceremony. The event was inaugurated with the symbolic opening of the new paddy field marking the beginning of a day dedicated to celebrating the spirit of togetherness and the joy of working and playing together. The inauguration was graced by the presence of the invited chief guests Mr.Elias Sanctis, Mr.Anil Lobo, Mr.Pradeep Dsouza, Mrs.Sowmya Roseline and other distinguished guests, along with members of the Youth CLC and the community.

Following the inauguration, a variety of sports and traditional games were conducted with great enthusiasm and participation. The events included volleyball ,throwball,tug of war , relay , powli so khel , wife in the air , memory game and several other fun-filled team and individual events. Each event witnessed energetic participation, healthy competition, laughter, and strong team spirit among the participants.

The games provided an opportunity for everyone to come together beyond age and background, strengthening friendship, cooperation, and community bonding. The muddy field added to the unique charm of the event, making the experience lively, memorable, and enjoyable for all.

Throughout the day, the programme progressed smoothly with active involvement from the organizers, volunteers, participants, and supporters. The enthusiasm of the participants and the encouragement from the gathering contributed greatly to the vibrant atmosphere of the event.

As the day came to an end, the various activities were successfully concluded in the evening. The programme was wrapped up at around 7:00–8:00 p.m. bringing a joyful and fulfilling day to a close.

GADHYANTH UDKHANA  was a great success reflecting the spirit of unity, friendship, teamwork, and community fellowship. The event created many memorable moments for everyone involved and stood as a wonderful celebration of togetherness, leaving participants with lasting memories of joy and camaraderie.
