Olympics - Javelin throw By Deona Rego Back

Olympics - Javelin throw

Javelin in  hand the players had run
Bright light on the face as the sun

Players performed their best
Trying  to achieve success among the rest

Players ran in the  direction of the throw
Their hard work  to show

Javelin in hand Neeraj Chopra threw
To win the gold medal he grew

Indians were so proud
Jubilant was the crowd

People knew not that he was a soldier
His fame was like a tall tower

The Tri-colour was gloriously hoisted
Neeraj proudly  saluted

Song of praise spread in the entire country
Because Neeraj had made history.
