Life without a mother by Adriel Quadros Back

Life without a mother

It was a happy place;
In your arms we found solace.
Grew up looking at your pretty face;
Never knew you'll part ways leaving us alone in this life's race.
It was hard to live with just your lovely memories;
Having no one to share our miseries.
Lost our way without your guidance;
Fell prey to earthly fantasies with no hinderance.
Deeply immersed in the worldly pleasures;
Felt so right to follow those measures.
Your absence haunts us night and day;
Having no lap for our heads to lay.
Life without a mother is always incomplete they say;
Until we reunite in the paradise on that special day.
