Landlinks Ward: Cemetery Cleaning Back
Landlinks Ward: Cemetery Cleaning
The members of Landlinks Ward took up the task of cleaning a portion of the cemetery as Seva for the month of September. The members assembled at 3pm and chose a portion, on the right of the entrance of the cemetery, for cleaning. The cleaning activity began with a small prayer for the departed souls. The members plucked the grass and weeds and shifted them to the pit at the corner of the cemetery. Mild drizzles interrupted the work for a short period of time. The work was completed by 5pm. A total of 17 members including 6 youth joined this ward activity. Even senior citizens participated in the cleaning activity, setting examples for the young. The entire cleaning activity brought a sense of contentment among the ward members.
