Landlinks Upper Ward celebrates Ward Day Back
LandLinks Upper Ward celebrated their Ward Day on December, 01st 2018. The celebration began with a thanksgiving mass offered at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail at 05:00 PM on the same day.
The ward members later gathered together at Mr. William and Mrs. Molly Suares residence to celebrate the Annual Ward Day and Christmas get-together.
The chief guests for this programme were Rev. Fr.Gracian Alvares the Resident Priest, Mr. Edward Coelho the Vice President of Parish Pastoral Council, and Mrs. Lizzie Fernandes the Secretary of the Parish Pastoral Council. Accompaning them were ward Gurkars, representatives and ward members.
Fr. Gracian addressed the gathering by saying "Let the ward members grow together with love and oneness among them". Later the achievers in various field were honoured. Cultural programme followed. Mrs. Renilda Mascarenhas and Mr. Ronald Vaz hosted the programme.
Mrs. Wilma Cardoza the ward Gurkar proposed the vote of thanks. The ward day ended with a sumptuous dinner.
