New Year Celebration 2021

Eucharistic Adoration is the adoration of Jesus Christ present in the Holy Eucharist. Anyone who spends time in adoration of the Sacrament develops a personal relationship with Jesus and grows in love and His holiness. On this note the New Year Celebrations at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail began with the Adoration at 06:30 PM on the Church Grounds. Rev. Fr Austin Peter Peres along with the Parish Youth led the Adoration. The intentions which were written during the novenas were offered to the Almighty.
The festal mass began at 07:00 PM. Rev. Fr Francis Almeida was the main celebrant. Rev. Fr Austin Peter Peres and Rev. Fr Gerald Pinto were the concelebrants.
Fr. Francis in his homily highlighted the life of Mother Mary and also said that while wishing a happy new year we should also wish peace to our fellow mates for the coming year. The Youth Choir of Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail added to the solemnity of the celebration.
After the final blessings the parish priest, Fr Austin Peres thanked the youth and all those who rendered their service towards the success of the celebration. He conveyed wishes to all the parishioners. Finally, prizes were distributed to the winners of Fancy dress, Parable telling, Christmas card making, Christmas tree, and Crib.
Soon after the mass refreshments were served.
