Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail commemorates Jesus's Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem through celebration of Palm Sunday

The Palm Sunday service at Most Holy Redeemer Church commenced at 7AM with the blessing and distribution of the palm. This was followed by a solemn  mass celebrated by Rev. Fr. Austin Peter Peres, Rev. Fr. Gerald Pinto and Rev. Fr. Walter Pinto. In his homily Fr. Austin reflected on the  importance of Palm Sunday and shed some light on the Gospel of the day by calling upon everyone to affirm the roots of faith by considering Jesus as our role model. The official choir of the parish added to the solemnity of the service.
The parishioners participated in the ceremony with great devotion. All the Covid related norms as prescribed by the government were strictly followed throughout the ceremony.
