Free General Health Check Up Camp for Derebail Parishioners

Yuva Spandan Derebail (YSD-ICYM) in association with Father Muller Medical College Hospital and the support of Youth Commission Derebail, Lions Club Mangalore- Ladyhill and Lions Club Kudremukh organized a Free General Health Checkup Camp on  Sunday, 12 November, 2023 at Most Holy Redeemer church, Derebail Banquet Hall. 

The inaugural programme began at 8:30 am with a prayer service. Ms. Johanna Pereira- secretary of YSD extended a warm welcome to the gathering. Rev.Fr. Joseph Martis- Director of YSD inaugurated the programme along with Rev. Fr. Kevin Dsouza- Asst. Director, Mrs. Sheela Dsouza- Vice President of PPC, Mr. Denzil Pinto- Secretary of PPC, Mr.Anil Patrao- Coordinator of 21 Commissions , Mr.  Jeethan Castelino- Coordinator of Youth Commission, Dr. Deepthi Fernandes- Pediatric department, FMMCH, Mrs. Vidya Mohan Asst. Lecture, FMCON, Lion Victor Moras- Zone chair person, Lion Lidiya Dcosta- secretary, Lion Taranath- President and Mrs. Lizzie Fernandes- Animator of YSD. 

Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis congratulated the members and everyone involved and addressed the gathering. Dr. Deepthi Fernandes and  Mrs. Vidya Mohan gave insights and briefed about the facilities available. Lion P.  Bhramam, addressed the gathering. Mr. Christon Menezes- President of YSD delivered the Vote of Thanks. Ms. Jeana Pereira was the MC for the inaugural program.

The free General Health Checkup camp included General Medicine, ECG, Pediatrics,  Orthopedics,  Ophthalmology and Speech and Hearing. Around 200+ people were examined and provided with free health checkup and medicines.

This programme definitely aided in bringing about awareness and facilitated easy health check-up for the parishioners.
