EASTER FIESTA 2023
Youth Christian Life Community of Derebail parish organised Easter Fiesta 2023 a fun-filled event with Games, Food and Entertainment for the parishioners on 9th April 2023.The Programme began at 4.30pm with cultural performances. The Formal inauguration of the programme was at 5.00pm by Parish priest Rev.Fr. Joseph Martis. Parish priest of Kuppepadav Fr.Gratian Alvares, Mr. Rovin Dsouza president of youth CLC, Fr Gerald Pinto, Parish Council Vice President Mrs Sheela Dsouza and Secretary Mr Denzil Pinto, Senior CLC President and Youth CLC Animator Mr Ullas Dosta, Event Convener Mr Gerald Concessao were present. All the dignitaries visited the stalls after the inaugration.
Various food and fun-game counters were set up by youth associations of the parish. Lively stage performances by different associations were held during this event.
A mocktail counter was set up by Youth CLC members with attractive cold drinks to beat the summer heat.
Auction of alcohol Hamper was the main highlight of this event.Mr.Vincent Rebello conducted the auction. Housie housie was conducted by Mr.Victor Correa. The event concluded with Baila Dance at 9.30pm.
Mr.Avinash D'Souza compered the programme.
This event was indeed a successful one where all people gathered young and old enjoyed with lots of food games and non-stop performances.
