Chicken Cafreal
Ingredients:
1. Chicken 750 grams
2. Salt as per taste
3. Coriander leaves – 2 hands full or 3 cups
4. Cinnamon stick
5. Cloves-5
6.Pepper-8seeds
7. Ginger garlic paste-2tablespoon
8.Vinegar 1tablesppon
9.3/4-cup curd
10. Green chillies-5-7 (adjust according to your spice level)
11. Turmeric powder-1 teaspoon
12. Oil for frying.
Method:
--Cut clean and wash the chicken (medium-size pieces with some gashes)
- Grind all the ingredients into a fine paste. You will see a green-colored paste.
--Apply salt to the chicken and marinate at least for 4 hours.(You can also keep it overnight)
Take a non-stick, preferably a deep pan, put a little oil in it, add the chicken pieces and shallow fry. Let it fry on medium flame.
Add some butter and fry on a low flame till it's done.
NOTE: It will leave water. It’s okay, it will slowly dry at the end.
If you wish, you can leave a little masala as well without completely letting it dry.
Can be served as a starter.
