Take me back to the days, O Time Machine by Reon Sylvester D Cunha Back

Take me back to the days, O Time Machine

Take me back to the days, O Time Machine,
Things that only 90's and Early 20's Kids remember,
When cartoon shows were in abundance and meaningful,
Characters that inspired People always,
To Smile and to be joyful always.

Cartoons? What cartoons?
Dancing like a pro when Pokemon arrived,
Laughing out loud to the acts of Mr Bean,
Tunes of Oswald, Richie Rich and Scooby doo, that activated us,
Those were our dopamine Hits.

And that's not all!
Anyone remembers Power Rangers and Transformers?
Those were our heroes,
Nostalgic heroes saving us from the Witches.

No Time?Who said there was no time?
School, Homework, Pokemon cards, Outdoor activities, Toys filled our Pasteurs,
Yet we had enough time to enjoy other things.
Boredom? Who started that word?
It's enough to enjoy the petrichor during the rains.

Typing? That was something non existing,
When flaunting our Stationary was a prestige,
Whoever had the Trimax was "Ameer Log"
When getting a  five Rupee pen was called normal.

Planning for holidays? Not necessary!
It was well spent with cousins in grandma's place,
Hunting for mangoes and Jackfruits was a treasure hunt.
Coming together to have it was a party.

Expensive Chocolates? Not exactly!
Great were those people who bought KitKat and Diary milk,
When laying hands on 50 paise Toffees was an normal,
And having a MUNCH was an occasion.

Who said we texted people?
One telephone in the house that United,
One call that was needed,
To call the neighbours and friends,
To come down, Hark and play.

Stories? Those were narrated by our grandmothers,
From whom the fairytales entered our worlds,
Only to be curious later on,
As to what Happened later.

Eating outside? That indicated a celebration,
Something special in the family,
Why out though! When everything could me made at home,
It was cooking that United the family.

Can I get Doaremon's Time Machine?
Or the book written by HG Wells?
I need to get back to the drawing board,
Just to have a glance at it.
