Today is your birthday,
We visit you at your resting place.
No cakes, but just memories,
And sadness that will never go away.

When on earth, your voice echoed in the choir,
You recited the Litany, while all of us held the Paschal fire.
Your absence makes us feel so weak,
Heaven's choir became strong with your voice so unique.

With tearful eyes, we watch your sons pray,
Who wish you'd return and forever stay.
They pray for mercy, they pray for grace,
For once to be in your loving embrace.

A little time shall pass and then, 
We shall greet each other at Heaven's doors again.
Days have passed and the music is done,
But the melody of your voice still lingers on.

As angels sing to you today,
Remember that we miss you everyday.
We wish for you to feel and see,
That in our hearts you will always be.
