A Ray of Hope by Loretta Anthony Back

A Ray of Hope

Life is a gift from God above,
Filled with mercy, truth, and love.
Each new breath, each brand-new day,
Is proof that God still makes a way.

Hope is the light we hold inside,
Faith is the strength that will not hide.
God is the hand that leads us through
In  all that we fear, in all that we do.

When days feel long and heart weak,
When answers are what we seek,
A quiet voice begins to cope,
Soft and warm—a ray of hope.

When life feels hard and dreams feel far,
When we forget how blessed we are,
Hope gently lifts our weary eyes
To better days beyond the skies.

When the road feels dark and nights long,
And everything seems quite wrong
A ray of hope shines calm and bright,
Turning fear into gentle light.

When loneliness fills empty space,
And tears fall down a tired face,
Hope brings peace we can’t explain,
And helps our hearts to heal again.

When all feels empty, lost, and bare,
And burdens press beyond our care,
A whisper calls, Do not fear,
For God is close, forever near.

Through every storm, through every test,
Hope reminds us we are blessed.
For God is faithful, strong, and true,
And all His promises do come true.

So hold on tight when times are tough,
When life feels hard and days are rough.
Look ahead, believe, and cope—
For God still sends a ray of hope.
