A letter from your children by Reon Sylvester D Cunha Back
A letter from your children
For your unconditional support, we are always grateful,
For being our first teacher, we cannot be forgetful,
Thank you for giving us things more than enough,
Even though we saw your life being tough.
You worked hard everyday,
More than what you actually say,
You gave us everything,
But you lied to us that you want nothing.
You have suffered all the pain,
Your efforts to nurture us didn't go in vain,
You are always patient and forgiving,
Whenever the other people are forsaking.
What more do we need,
When you are there for us to feed?
You are our so called "Home minister"
For us with the values of life, You administer.
With all the diseases you fight,
Struggling to sleep at night,
We have seen you work,
Even during the moments of dark.
You deserve all the flowers,
And of blessings in showers,
You are the soldier of our home,
You deserve the respect, atleast some.
Your love will forever remain,
Always At our side, we shall retain,
There are no better words than "Thank You"
For the wonderful things that you do.
