Human Chain Protest in Derebail 

The Diocese of Mangalore in coordination with Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh (R) organised a  Human Chain to protest and fight against the recently introduced  Anti Conversion Law which is in contravention of the rights conferred by the Constitution on its citizens, affecting the rights of the Christian community in particular and also to protest against the innumerable atrocities and injustices being committed on Christians in the country and in our state, Karnataka,  in particular  and to seek justice.

Beginning of the Lenten Season: Derebail Parishioners Participate in the Mass on Ash Wednesday

Lent, the penitential preparation for Easter, begins on Ash Wednesday.  The 40 days of Lent marks the commemoration of Jesus's days in the desert where he spent 40 days in fasting and prayer before beginning his public ministry. During these 40 days Christians spend time in recollection, repentance and prayer  with the belief in their heart that Jesus Christ died for them. Hence, on Ash Wednesday is an important day in the liturgical calendar.

Blood Donation Camp 2022

Yuva Spandan Derebail (YSD-ICYM) in association with Indian Red Cross Society, Dakshina Kannada, Commission for Youth, Derebail Parish, Commission for Health, Derebail Parish, Lions Club Mangalore, Ladyhill and Lions club mangalore, Kudremukh organised a Blood Donation Camp on 20th February 2022 at 8:30am at Derebail Parish Banquet Hall. A formal stage programme was conducted.

Prize Distribution of Drawing Competition 2021 organised by Youth CLC   

Christian Life Community (CLC)- Youth Unit, Derebail had organised Drawing Competition on 19th December 2021 for the children and Youth of the Parish from LKG- YCS . The prize distribution of the same  was held on 30th January 2022 at the end of 9.00 AM Mass.

The Feast of the Holy Innocents, also called Childermas or Innocents’ Day is a Christian feast in remembrance of the massacre of young children in Bethlehem by King Herod the Great in his attempt to kill the infant Jesus (Matthew 2:16–18).
