CLC Day Celebration - 2020

The members of Christian Life Community (CLC) of Derebail parish celebrated CLC day on the feast of Immaculate Conception on 8th of December 2020. The Celebration began with a solemn mass at 5:30pm offered by Rev. Fr. Gratian Alvares, Parish priest of Kuppepadav.

A short programme was held after the mass at the church meeting hall. The programme began with a prayer song by Senior CLC members. Mr. Patrick Veigas, President of Senior CLC welcomed the gathering. Mrs Juliana Coelho presented the annual report of the Senior CLC. Mr Denzil Pinto, presented the annual report on behalf of the youth CLC.

The newly designed logo of the youth CLC was unveiled during the Event by the Chief guest, Rev. Fr. Gratian Alvares along with the dignitaries, Rev. Fr. Austin Peter Peres, Rev. Fr. Gerald Francis Pinto, Parish pastoral Council Vice-president Mrs. Sheela D'Souza, Parish pastoral Council Secretary, Mr.Gaulbert Pais,President of Senior CLC Mr. Patrick Veigas and Vice-president of Youth CLC Mr. Rovin D'Souza.

The dignitaries spoke a few words on the ocassion of CLC day commemorating the feast of Immaculate Conception and gave few words of inspiration to all the members.The Membership  certificates were distributed to the newly joined members of Youth CLC by the Parish priest Rev.Fr. Austin Peter Peres. The Vice-president president of youth CLC Mr. Rovin D'Souza delivered the vote of thanks. Mr.Gerald Concessao compered the programme. The programme concluded with energetic performances put up by the youth CLC members, that included a skit and dance.
