New Office Bearers Elected for Women's Association 2022

A Meeting of the Women's Association of Most Holy Redeemer Church Derebail was held on 11th April, 2022. The meeting began after the 5.30PM mass. The meeting commenced with a short prayer. Rev. Fr.Austin Peter Peres, Parish Priest presided over the meeting. Mrs Gretta Pinto,President, Central Committee and Mrs. Terry Pais, former central President along with the officer bearers Mrs.Celine Correa, President; Mrs Mable Feenand, Vice President; Mrs.Benny Dcunha, Secretary; Mrs Dora Dcunha, Joint Secretary, Mrs. Pramila Furtado Treasurer, and Mrs Juliet Moras, Jagran Prathinidhi graced the occasion.

Mrs.Celine Correa welcomed the dignitaries with a rose. She placed on record her warm welcome to all the members who had gathered for the meeting.

As a preliminary step of the election process, Mrs. Gretta Pinto briefed the gathering about the election process, the criteria for selecting that candidate and requested individuals to suggest a candidate first and then others had to approve it. Candidates are elected based on the approval of the majority.

The election process then followed. Mrs Celine Menezes was chosen to be the President, Mrs Hilda Pais Vice President, Mrs Gracy Dsouza Secretary, Mrs Merlyn Mascarenhas Joint Secretary, Pramila Furtado Treasurer and Mrs Lydia Dcosta Jagran Pratinidhi.
Mrs Mercy Celine Menezes accepted to be the Varado Jagran Pratinidhi.

Fr.Austin congratulated the newly elected Office bearers and asked all the members  to strengthen  the bond among themselves and move ahead in unison.

Mrs Benedicta Dcunha presented the Annual report. The programme was organized by Mrs. Pramila Furtado.

The meeting concluded with a hymn and refreshments
