Members of Christian Life Community celebrate Co- Patron's Day

On the occassion of the Feast of  St. Ignatius of Loyola, the members of Christian Life Community (CLC)- Derebail unit celebrated its co- Patron day on  31 July, 2023. The celebration began with a Thanksgiving Mass at 5.30 PM. The Parish Priest and Spiritual Director Rev. Fr. Joseph Martis celebrated the mass.This was followed by a get-together at the Parish Meeting Hall at 6.15 PM. 

The programme began with a short prayer service led by Mrs. Mable D'souza.
The Parish Priest Rev. Fr.Joseph Martis, Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr.Kevin Lawrence D'souza, PPC Vice President Mrs.Sheela D'Souza, Secretary Mr. Denzil Pinto, Senior CLC President Mr. Ullas D'costa and Youth CLC President Mr Rovin Dsouza were the dignitaries on the dias.
Mr. Rovin Dsouza welcomed the gathering. Mr. Ullas D'costa gave an insight on CLC.
Fr. Joseph Martis in his Presidential address,  called upon the members to be obedient in serving the society. Fr. Kevin D'Souza in his message highlighted the need to follow the footsteps of St. Ignatius and focus on prayer. Mrs. Sheela D'souza encouraged the members to be humble and Mr. Denzil Pinto stressed upon selfless service.During the programme, one of the couples Wedding Anniversary was celebrated. It was decided that this year onwards CLC will  support one poor family every year from the Parish.                                The programme was compered by Mr. Ullas D'costa. Words of gratitude were expressed by Mrs. Mable Rodrigues. A total of 35 members were present for the occasion. The programme concluded with the final blessings by Fr. Kevin D'souza . High tea was served for the members and guests.
