Annual Retreat 2017 Back

The season of Lent is that where Christians spend time in prayer, sacrifice and repentance and look forward to the resurrection of Lord Jesus on Easter's day.  An annual retreat is organized at Most Holy Holy Redeemer Church in order to aid its parishioners have a meaningful Easter. The annual retreat for the current liturgical year was organized from the 27th to 29th of March,2016. The retreat was conducted by Rev.Fr.Vijay Machado. On the first day of the retreat the focus was on understanding our sins, asking forgiveness and penance as means of facilitating reconciliation. On the second day of the retreat Fr.Vijay Machado elaborated on how sins could affect a person and the society in which he or she lives. Confessions and adoration was also a part of the second day of the annual retreat. On the third day, the emphasis was on Family and adoration followed. The success of the retreat was evident in the response that the parishioners offered with their presence in great numbers.
